callas pdfToolbox 5.4.160 released

The latest version of pdfToolbox 5.4.160 has just been released; this is for both the Desktop and Server version on Mac and Windows, as well as the CLI version for Linux. The Server version for Windows x64 and other CLI versions will also be updated soon.

The following changes have been implemented in this maintenance release:

Fixups

• Downsample/compress monochrome images: Problem solved where CCITT 1-bit compression was not preserved on downsampling [CA1021130]

Action Create PostScript / Redistill: Problem solved where processing may shift page content in some cases [FP17164; FP18023]

Action Merge PDF: Problem solved where documents could not be merged properly [CA1016580; CA1021103]

Desktop

• Problem solved with certification after running a profile
• Problem solved in batch processing where files with special characters in name where not moved or copied (Mac only)

ServerUI

• Quicker start of processing when a great amount of files are in the queue
• Problem solved where parallel processing of office files did not work properly
